Mohd Zaid is an Independent Director of MyAngkasa Holdings Sdn Bhd, the business arm of ANGKASA. He has more than 25 years of experience in Malaysian corporate scene, serving at the highest level in the Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) such as Prokhas, FELCRA, FELDA, Jambatan Kedua to name a few. He has also served as a Business Development Director of Strategic Investment Company Oman (SICO), a Muscat-based agency to cater for the needs of energy sector in the Sultanate of Oman. His forte in turning around ailing businesses, wide networking in the corporate world, strategic business planning and energetic driving of business expansions have seen those companies benefited tremendously from his contributions.
He started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co, one of the “Big Five” accounting firms then, after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1994. He is a Chartered Accountant, being a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountant (MICPA) since 1999.
