S. Ahlaimuniandy is an Independent Director of MyAngkasa Holdings Sdn Bhd. He has been actively involved in the national apex co-operative movements ANGKASA, where he was once its Internal Auditor and Secretary of its Wilayah Persekutuan Division and an alternate member from ANGKASA Wilayah Persekutuan to the ANGKASA Central Committee. He is currently the General Secretary of Kesatuan Koperasi-Koperasi Kredit Malaysia and Vice Chairman of Midlands Cooperative Union of Malaysia.
He began his career as a Lecturer at Co-operative College of Malaysia after graduating from the University of Science, Malaysia in 1983 and was actively involved in research on co-operative practices, administration & management. He wrote various research papers which were presented and published locally and globally including at conferences organized by the World Bank and the United Nation.
In recognition of his contributions to the national co-operative cause, he was awarded the 2003 Cum Golden Jubilee Meritorious Service Award for outstanding services rendered to the growth and development of co-operatives in Malaysia by Co-operative Union of Malaysia, the 2011 Midlands Diamond Jubilee Meritorious Service Award and the prestigious Outstanding Co-operative Personality and Leadership Award by ANGKASA Wilayah Persekutuan in 2011.
